Dr. JJ Hung is Professor of Department of Oceanography, National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan. He specializes in carbon and trace-element biogeochemistry in marine and aquatic environments. He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, focusing on soil and water chemistry in 1984. He has published more than 70 referred papers and reviewed over 45 articles for numerous scientific journals in marine, environmental and geosciences. He has served as the Program Chair (2009-2012) of Oceanographic Division in National Science Council, and Chair of SCOR (2009-2012) in Taiwan. He is current a Review Editor and a Editorial Board member in Frontier in Marine Science and Jacobs Journal of Hydrology.
