Dr. Ahmad Salimi
Assistant Professor of toxicology in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Ardabil University of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Ahmad Salimi studied Toxicology in Ahvaz (Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences) and did his PhD in Tehran (Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences). His research focuses on the selective toxicity new drugs on cancer cell, the interface between chemical agents and immune system, mechanistic toxicology using isolated cells and mitochondria and also cell culture. A special interest is the using of mitochondria for therapy various diseases. He (co-)authored over 30 papers and book chapters.
