Biography
Dr Terence Babwah is a Lecturer in Family Medicine in the Department of Para Clinical Sciences of the University of The West Indies at the St Augustine campus in Trinidad & Tobago. He is a specialist General Practitioner with a special interest in Sports and Exercise Medicine. His research interest includes: epidemiology of football injuries, exercise in primary care settings, pain in athletes and primary care patients, quality systems to improve community diabetic care, and caffeine use, nutritional supplements use in both the general population and sporting populations. He has published fourteen peer reviewed articles and three chapters in books to date. He is a peer reviewer for journals in sports and exercise medicine and community diabetes care.
