Biography
Dr. Ramesh Daggubati is the Acting Chief of Cardiology and a Clinical Professor at Brody School of Medicine, East Carolina University and serves as the Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program in the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences. In addition, he leads as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Co-Director of the Structural Heart Disease Service Line at East Carolina Heart Institute at Vidant Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in India. His post-graduate training continued at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center as an Internal Medicine Resident, Winthrop University Hospital as a Cardiology Fellow, and Yale University-Bridgeport Hospital as an Interventional Cardiology Fellow.
 
Research Interest
Dr. Daggubati?s clinical and research interests focus on complex coronary interventions and percutaneous mitral and aortic valve disease management. He has published in multiple academic journals and lectures nationally and internationally. He has served on sponsored various industry advisory boards, and is currently a member of the SCAI Education Committee Executive Council, SCAI.org Editorial Advisory Board, and the SCAI International Program Committee. He is the course co-director and is on the Scientific Committee of C3 conference.
