Biography
Dr. Naoum Tsolakis holds a diploma in Production and Management Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace (2006), while he possesses Postgraduate Diplomas in "State-of-the-Art Design and Analysis Methods in Industry" (Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Thessaly, 2008), in "Technology Entrepreneurship" (Department of Management Science and Innovation of UCL, 2010), and in "Engineering Project Management" (Hellenic Open University, 2012). He is a Ph.D. graduate from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Industrial Management Division, Laboratory of Statistics and Quantitative Analysis Methods, 2015). His Ph.D. considers the issues of Sustainable Agrifood Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Modelling and Simulation, and Innovation Systems, while he has published scientific works in peer-reviewed Journals, Book Chapters, and National and International Conference Proceedings. Furthermore, Dr. Naoum Tsolakis has been working in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of A.U.Th. as a researcher in a plethora of national and European research programs (2010 - Today), whereas he has acted as a Teaching Assistant in the Department for the following undergraduate courses: Multivariate Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Management, Inventory Management and Product Distribution, Project Management and Management of Technology & Innovation. Finally, his research interests concern the fields of Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Project Management, Food Security, Eco-cities and Innovation.
