Ihab Obaidat is a faculty member of the Department of Physics at United Arab Emirates University. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois in 1998. His research focuses on magnetic nanoparticles, electric and magnetic properties of ferroelectric materials and of high-temperature superconductors. He published more than 90 papers in international journals and has participated in 70 conferences and workshops. He received several research awards including the prestigious ?Khalifa Award for Education for the Academic Year 2014-2015 and the prestigious ?Abdul Hameed Shoman Award for Young Arab Researchers in Physics and Geology for the Year 2010?.
