Biography
Fatemeh Kokabisaghi is a researcher and PHD Candidate in the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Also, she is a lecturer at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She holds a master?s and bachelor?s degree in Health Services Management from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Prior to her doctorate research, for some years, she worked as the head of the Administrative Reform Department of Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran. The goal of the department is to change the health system in the fields of human resources management, organization, processes and policies in order to provide better services for population. In Recent years, she has focused on the legal aspects of right to health. Her PhD research focuses on the Iranians? right to health according to international human rights law and national laws. She has published several articles about the bureaucratic system reform of Iran?s health sector, and rights of different vulnerable groups to health.
