Research Interest
My research interests have focused on clinical trials of peripheral and minimally invasive vascular therapies. I have been involved in industry-sponsored clinical trials since 1998, and have served as National and site Principal Investigator as well as Sub-Investigator on numerous trials, including several thrombolytic trials. I was both a Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator on an R01 NIH grant from 2004 to 2012 that focused on IVUS interrogation of peripheral vasculature, and authored and co-authored several abstracts as a result of the data collected during this trial. I also mentored the Principal Investigator on a K23 grant that involved IVUS studies of peripheral arteries, and participated as a Sub-Investigator on the trial.
