Natural healers for gastrointestinal failures

Nowadays, the researchers following some adjunctive natural healings for gastrointestinal issues. Due to the side effects and temporary impacts of chemical drugs, the use of herbal drugs as a complementary drug along with chemical drugs is recommended for gastrointestinal and digestive issues. Continued consumption of ginger reduces stomach pain, improves gastric digestion and bloating, prevents nausea, and curcumin inhibits the proliferation of Helicobacter pylori. The extract of licorice (glycerinic acid) has significant effects against Helicobacter pylori and peptic ulcers which is even comparable to antibiotics. Consumption of licorice is also very effective in reducing gastritis and stomach ulcers and ultimately gastric infection. It seems that the use of cumin can reduce many gastrointestinal symptoms including bloating. The combination of Nigella sativa and honey is a powerful treatment for digestive problems, wound healing and even severe infections, as well as eliminate harmful microbes in the gastrointestinal tract that cause bloating and gastritis. Due to increasing resistance to antibacterial drugs, cinnamon can be one of the effective plants in clearing Helicobacter pylori. The anti-Helicobacter pylori effect of chamomile, garlic, cinnamon, dill, fennel, cumin and saffron have been proved. Clove is very effective for the proper functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and treats diarrhea, bloating, nausea, vomiting, indigestion and constipation. Chamomile is used in the treatment of various diseases such as gastrointestinal disorders (ulcers of the stomach and intestines, bloating, indigestion). Oregano also relieves anorexia and stomach weakness. Oral consumption of peppermint helps to treat gastrointestinal diseases. Mucilage’s of mallow dissolved in water and swollen or viscous solutions is formed with laxative property. Traditional use of lavender tea treats digestive problems such as nervous stomach and indigestion. High concentration of anti-inflammatory proteins of camel milk has proper effects on the stomach and intestinal issues. Recent reports proved the beneficial effects of camel milk on the digestive system health. Lactose-intolerant patients easily digest camel milk due to high concentration L-Lactate in camel milk. In autism subjects, due to camel milk containing inflammation-inhibiting and hypoallergenic properties, also smaller size of antibodies can treat gastrointestinal problems and improve some autistic behaviours. The use of herbal and natural drugs along with chemical drugs is recommended for gastrointestinal and digestive issues. However, about the medicinal effects of herbs and processed camel milk, still it needs to do more studies to prove these efficacy.
