Cystic Fibrosis High Impact Factor Journals

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is an genetic disease of the mucus and sweat glands. It affects mostly your lungs, pancreas, liver, intestines, sinuses, and sex organs. It causes your mucus to be thick and sticky.  Cystic fibrosis mucus clogs the lungs, causing breathing problems and making it easy for bacteria to grow.
NIH-funded discovery uses common anti fungal drug to improve lungs' ability to fight infection. Researchers say a widely-used anti fungal drug may hold promise for treating people with cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening genetic disorder that causes serious damage to the lungs.
