Å?Ä?Æ? stroke some degree of improvement occurs within 6 months. There are two mechanisms through which recovery occurs: I- Blood Å?Žw surrounding the injured areas of cerebral cortex resolute which speed up the metabolic process Æ?Ä?ƐƵůÆ?nŐ in increased neuronal Ä?cÆ?vŝÆ?y in remaining neurons. II- Surviving neurons make new cŽnnÄ?cÆ?ŽnƐ with surrounding areas of cerebral cortex to restore neuronal ĨƵncÆ?Žn or to compensate for it. Both ways are interlinked to each other.
