Review Journals In Genomics

Genomics is an interdisciplinary field of biology focusing on the structure, function, evolution, mapping, and editing of genomes. A genome is an organism's complete set of DNA, including all of its genes. Genes may direct the production of proteins with the assistance of enzymes and messenger molecules. In turn, proteins make up body structures such as organs and tissues as well as control chemical reactions and carry signals between cells. Genomics involves sequencing and analysis of genomes through use of high throughput DNA sequencing and bioinformatics to assemble and analyze the function and structure of entire genomes.  Advances in genomics triggered a revolution in systems biology and discovery based research to understand the most complex biological system like brain

Review articles are the summary of a particular research topic.

Review journals in Genomics analyze or discuss research findings previously published by scientists  or academicians rather than reporting novel research results. Review article can be in the form of systematic reviews, literature reviews or a form of secondary literature. Systematic reviews determine the objective list of criteria, and finds all previously published original research papers that meet the criteria. They then compare the results presented in these papers. Literature reviews, in contrast, provide a summary of what the authors believe are the best and most relevant prior to publications.
