Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation is a process which involves the restoration of physical strength and function. Restorative journals involve specific treatments that enable the individuals to restore function after illness or injury. Rehabilitation is a care that helps to get back, keep or improve abilities that are essential for daily life. These can be physical, mental or cognitive which involves thinking and learning. Some of them may be lost because of a disease or injury or as a side effect from a medical treatment. It is a compilation of interventions that are needed when a person experiences certain limitations in every-day activities due to aging or health conditions chronic diseases or disorders, injuries or traumas. Some of the functional limitations include difficulty in thoughts, vision, communication and movement. Rehabilitation is an individual-centred health strategy that may be distributed either through specialised rehabilitation programmes.
