Science's ever-booming field now is proteomics, which deals with protein recognition, its structure , function, and characterisation. With the process involved, a single gene can produce multiple variants of proteins, such as alternative splicing or post-translation modifications. Thus, with the study of proteins, the advantage of understanding the disease, its way of treating and understanding the cellular processes has been added in the biological field. The study of proteomics is not limited to humans; the proteom of plants , animals and microbes is now being studied as well. Studying plant proteome has helped to learn the fundamental mechanism of flowering plants , plant hormones, etc. Quantitative proteomics' goal is to verify quantitative data in the vicinity of a specific protein test. In spite of the fact that qualitative furnish bits of knowledge that are of quality, quantitative datasets give a bigger comprehension.
