Molecularly Targeted Therapy Journals

Molecular Targeted Therapies uses drugs to focus on specific molecules  on the surface of or inside harmful cells. These molecules help to pass the signals from that cells to grow or divide. By targeting these molecules, the drugs stop the expansion and spread of harmful cells while limiting harm to normal cells. Targeted therapies use differing types of medicine , and every drug works differently.

Researchers are studying different targeted therapies in animals and in humans (clinical trials). However, few targeted therapies are approved for treatment. Targeted therapies may eventually convince be simpler and fewer harmful than current treatments. Targeted cancer therapies are expected to be simpler than current treatments and fewer harmful to normal cells. There are targeted therapies for myeloma , prostate cancerous disease, breast cancerous disease, melanoma lymphoma, and other cancers. the main classes of targeted therapy are small molecules and monoclonal antibodies. Some targeted therapy block the activity of certain proteins, enzymes, or other substances which are involved within the development and disperse of cancerous cells.
