Endocrine disorders are caused due to the hormonal imbalance of the Endocrine glands. Endocrine Disorders are of three types: 1) Hyposecretion of a Hormone 2) Hypersecretion of a hormone 3) Development of tumors in the Endocrine System. Endocrine disorders are typically grouped into two categories: a) Endocrine disease that results when a gland produces an excessive amount of or insufficient of an endocrine hormone, called a hormone imbalance b) Endocrine disease due to the development of lesions (such as nodules or tumors) in the endocrine system, which may or may not affect hormone levels.
Journal of Endocrine Disorders may be a peer-reviewed, open access journal published by Austin Publishers.
