Achilles tendinopathy may be a clinical syndrome characterized by the mixture of pain, swelling, and impaired performance. The etiology of Achilles tendinopathy is multifactorial which also including the intrinsic factor and the extrinsic factors. The sources of pain in Achilles tendinopathy are actually too complicated. The pain may originate from multiple factors. There are variable conservative and surgery options for Achilles tendinopathy. However, there's no gold standard of the treatments due to the controversial clinical results between various studies. within the future, more new level I researches are needed to prove the effect of those treatment options
