This moderately new field joins pharmacology and genomics to create successful, safe pharmaceuticals and measurements that will be tailored to a mans genetic makeup. Difference in genes affect the bodys reaction to medications, these genetic variations will be utilized to predict whether a solution will be successful for a specific individual and to help prevent adverse drug reactions.
