Professor and head of the department of Food Engineering, Erciyes University Turkey.
Mahmut Do?an is Professor and head of the department of Food Engineering at Erciyes University. He received his Ph.D. in Food Engineering from the Trakya University in 1996. He is serving as a chairmanof the board of Erciyes University Teknopark.
His research interests includefood chemistry, food rheology,milk and dairy product technology, food texture, food additives and functional foods. He has published over 75 papers and 100 presentations in food scienceareas. He has conducted more than 50 projects and 2 patent. He has visited different countries including Germany, Pakistan, Hungary, Poland, France, Portugal and Sweden as a visiting scientist and he has been involved in several conferences and workshops dealing with the field of food.
Professor Do?an has achieved many professional awards and marks of recognition. He has taken certificate of appreciation from the Engineering Faculty dean for several times and Incentive award from The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUB?TAK). Dr Dogan is also the member of editorial board of various Food Science and Technology journals.
