PhD. in Food Science with research focused in the extraction and characterization of arabinoxylans from maize industry byproducts at Research Center for Food and Development A.C. (Centro de Investigación en Alimentación y Desarrollo A.C.) in Hermosillo, Mexico in 2010.
National Researcher Level I in the National Research System of the Mexican National Council for Science and Technology (Investigador Nacional Nivel I en el Sistema Nacional de Investigadores del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y TecnologÃa en México) Author and coauthor of 13 papers published in the JCR-ISI Web of Science Expanded Index Journals and 4 book chapters in international publishers
