Editorial

In the interests of Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism and my Co-Editors, I am pleased to present the volume 4, issue 4 of the journal. Till now we have published 4 volumes and 11 issues. We could reach this position through the continuous support of board members and intellectual amplitude of our readers and contributors (authors and reviewers).

Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism is an international, peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that provides a forum for scientists and clinicians coordinating and sharing in fundamental and translational research platform. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and clinical studies that provide insights into the endocrine system and its associated diseases at a genomic, molecular, biochemical and cellular level in relation to the metabolism and reproduction.

In this article we were going to discuss about the articles that are published in volume 4 issue 4 that include Editorial note, Research article, Case report, Short communication and Market Analysis.

The editorial note by Nabil Mohie gives a brief description of volume 4 issue 3 that include Research articles, Awards. Conference announcements and post conference announcement articles.

Research article entitled “Design of Ni-oxide Nano-composites Containing 13-Retinoic Acid and Cholecalciferol Compounds and their Cytotoxicity on CP70 and Mice” by Soheila Zare discussed about the role of ovarian cancer in the overall cancer death in women. The author also mentioned the use NiO nanopartciles that help in delivery of Vitamins A and D that aid in curing and treatment of the ovarian cancer. The author proved the utility and application of NiO nanoparticles by conducting research on mice and succeeds in treating the diseased mice with ovarian cancer.

Case report entitled “Study of Birth Complications in Diabetic Mothers” by Hafiz Hafeez Ullah, Hafiz Faheem Ullah Khan, Hafiz Ghulam Murtaza Saleem and Wali Ullah focused on the drawbacks on diabetic pregnant and mothers related to the maternal and foetal complications, and miscarriages. The author did his study on 200 pregnant from different hospitals, clinics and maternity homes. Out of 200 81% were Diabetic gestational patients i.e. diabetes that usually occur during pregnancy between 5th and 8th week. Remaining 19% were diagnosed with pre-gestational diabetes. The demographic analysis of the data was done by observing and interpreting the lab results, family history, socio-economic history, indication, examination findings and lab findings. The author concluded mentioning that GDM is the more frequent prevailing type of diabetes and it is linked with majority of birth complications together with respiratory distress, hypoglycaemic babies, macrosomia, CVS malformations, miscarriages.

The short communication entitled “Knowledge, Attitude and Practice Regarding Foot Care among Diabetic Patients Who Visited Health Centres in Khartoum State, Sudan, 2018” by Alafraa Ahmed Mohammed Ahmed Described about basic knowledge of hyperglycaemia that include its characterisation, symptoms, signs, risk factors, types, control, prevention. The author also took interest in diabetics foot care and its complications involved.

The market analysis entitled “Market Analysis for Biomedical and Clinical Research 2020” by Galavis Pablo. The article is discussed about the various public health organisations in control, measuring, preventing of various diseases related to hormones and endocrine systems.

Endocrinology and Metabolism: Open Access means to work as the worldwide substance of endocrinology research. We feel incredible for such cooperation. Diary acknowledges paper accommodation during the time for creator comfort reason. Creators may present their paper online legitimately to editors. At long last, I thank all the board individuals for their endeavors towards the diary and survey journalists who give their certifiable audit remarks for quality distribution. Creators who has added to the diary are never been back picking our diary. We express gratitude toward them and wish them for extraordinary examination in the field of endocrinology.
