Dr. Youngmi Kang PhD, RN, Associate professor of College of Nursing Science at Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea. Prior she worked as assistant professor of Carolyn McKelvey Moore School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences at University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA. She has been selected for the Judith Braun Award for research excellence from the National Gerontological Nursing Association (NGNA). She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Nurse Association, Korean Nurses Association and NGNA.
Karen E MacRury-Sweet RN, BN., MN, MEd EXTRA FELLOW, Karen is currently the clinical placement coordinator and faculty of Dalhousie University School of nursing. Karen has spent the past twenty years in a senior management role at an Adult tertiary care institution in Atlantic Canada. Her passion is emergency preparedness and has been involved in H1N1 planning and other emergency opportunities that have occurred.
Ms. Hui-Chen CHEN, is a full-time senior lecturer at the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research interests include (1) psychoeducation intervention to enhance self-efficacy, health behavior and psychosocial well-being for patients and their caregivers in acute and community settings; (2) effective communication for healthcare providers and patients; (3) and simulation based learning and self-reflection for nursing students. Prior joining NUS, Hui-Chen has extensive clinical and academic work experiences in Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and the United States of America. She is an active member of California Nursing Board (USA), Minnesota Nursing Board (USA) and Singapore Nursing Board (Singapore).
