Peer Review Process

The peer review process in this Annals of Biological Sciences is double-blind. Peer review is the method by which journals examine and regulate the quality of the information they publish by allowing experts in the field to review and comment on articles that have been submitted. A first screening of manuscripts submitted to a journal is performed by the editorial team. Those who pass the initial screening are referred to at least two experts.
