The Anatomy of Pulmonary Arteries, Veins and their Variants

The anatomy of the pulmonary veins and arteries is significantly important in assessing how blood is circulated in the bodies. The anatomy of the two blood vessels is different in structure and position of the lobes in both the heart and lungs. Generally the pulmonary vein carries oxygenated blood while pulmonary artery carries deoxygenated blood. The purpose of the paper is to assess the anatomy of both the pulmonary veins and pulmonary arteries.
