Abstract

Molecular interactions by ultrasonic velocity, viscosity and density measurements in binary mixtures at 298.15 K

The ultrasonic velocity (U), viscosity (h) and density (r) at 298.15 K have been measured in the binary mixture of methanol and ethanol with p-anisaldehyde over entire range of mole fraction. From the experimental data, various acoustical parameters such as acoustic impedance (Z), relative association (RA), internal pressure (ıint), intermolecular free length (LF), adiabatic compressibility (Ks), and apparent molar volume (Vı). The results were interpreted in terms of molecular interaction between the components of the mixtures
