Model Pharmacy and Model Medicine Shop â?? a way of good pharmacy practice in Bangladesh

This dissertation focuses on the various perspective situations of Model Pharmacy and Model Medicine Shop in Bangladesh. Model Pharmacy and Model Medicine Shop idea first came in Bangladesh in 2016 by an USP personnel. After that with the help of DGDA (Directorate General of Drug Administration) and Ministry of Health and family Welfare in Bangladesh, management Science for Health (MSH) and UKAid developed a project to establish this idea in Bangladesh with collaboration of PCB (Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh). The country is motivated hard with its main thrust to achieve health for all, since its independence. In the recent days Model Pharmacy and Model Medicine Shop have become an important theme of study for the student in pharmacy. Unfortunately the subject matters remain overlooked for the student in our country. In Bangladesh the introduction of the Model Pharmacy and Model Medicine Shop practice like other skilled and semi-skilled health professionals will certainly improve as the primary health care system.
