Kidney and multiple myeloma: Prevalence, riskfactors and prognosis

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a blooddisordercharacterized by a malignant monoclonal proliferation of plasma cells. It represents 10% of hematologicalmalignancies. And 50% of patients withrenalimpairment. Renalinvolvement in multiple myelomaiscommon, itcomplicates the management of patients and oftenworsens the prognosis.The objective of thisstudywas to describe the epidemiological, clinical, biological, histological, treatment and outcome of renal damage in the MM, identifypredictors of poorrenalresponse in the MM and mortality of patients MM withrenalimpairment
