HAND HYGIENIZATION PRACTICES IN THE CONTEXT OF COVID 19: AN EXPERIENCE REPORT

The hand hygiene process is proven to be an effective and resolute means of combating COVID-19. Methodology & Theoretical Orientation: This is a descriptive study, an experience report. Held in a Hospital located in Fortaleza-Ceará, in June 2020, during the internship of the Process of Taking Care of Adult Health. In which the Hospital Infection Control Service (SCIH)
Findings: 60 Health professionals participated in the Educational Action, who work directly with COVID patients19, A multi professional team from different sectors. Among them Doctors, Nurses and Nursing Technicians.
Conclusion & Significance: Hand hygiene is one of the guiding pillars for attenuation of viral spread, it is also fundamental for the prevention and control of hospital infections, a simple and effective action plus this habit and difficult to modify.
