Aging

Aging or aging is the process of aging. The term refers mainly to humans, many animals, and fungi, and for example germs, plants are used and some simple animals may not die. In a general sense, aging can refer to single cells within a cell that has stopped dividing (cellular senescence) or to human relatives. In humans, aging represents the accumulation of changes in the human body over time and can include physical, mental and social changes. Response time, for example, may decline over the years, while knowledge of world events and wisdom may increase. Aging is among the most well-known risks of many human diseases: of the nearly 150,000 daily deaths worldwide, nearly two thirds die of age-related causes. The causes of aging are uncertain; current theories are given the concept of damage, where the accumulation of damage may cause biological systems to fail, or the sense of aging in the system, where internal processes (such as DNA methylation) can cause aging. Systemic aging should not be associated with programmed cell death.
