Myeloma a cancer of plasma cells which are White Blood Cells, helps in fighting disease by producing antibodies. Myeloma develops in bone marrow where Blood Cells made. The plasma cells after myeloma becomes cancerous and multiplies, lost infection fighting property.The myeloma cells commonly produce substances that cause bone destruction, leading to bone pain and/or fractures. Loss of appetite, bone pain and fever are the symptoms which may not be present. Chemotherapy, corticosteroids, radiation or a stem-cell transplant are the Treatments.
