Immuno-oncology

Immuno-oncology or cancer immunotheraphy is treatment use to treat the cancer with the help of immune system. Cancer ceLls have tumour-associated antigens (TAAs) on their surface which can be removed by immunotheraphy. Different types of immunotherapy are use such as Monoclonal antibodies which are man made proteins, Immune checkpoint inhibitors the drugs which attacks onco cells by recognizing them. Cancer vaccines are avilable which can prevent cancer by boosting immune system.
