Global Medical research (or experimental medicine) is in general simply known as medical research. It is the basic research (also called bench science or bench research), applied research, or translational research conducted to aid and support the development of knowledge in the field of medicine.
Biomedical research is the broad area of science that involves the investigation of the biological process and the causes of disease through careful experimentation, observation, laboratory work, analysis, and testing.
Clinical research is a branch of healthcare science that determines the safety and effectiveness (efficacy) of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use. These may be used for prevention, treatment, diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease.

General science is "knowledge attained through study or practice," or "knowledge covering general truths of the operation of general laws, esp. as obtained and tested through scientific method [and] concerned with the physical world." The systematic study of the nature and behaviour of the material and physical universe, based on observation, experiment, and measurement, and the formulation of laws to describe these facts in general terms

Global health is the health of populations in a global context; it has been defined as "the area of study, research and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people worldwide". Thus, global health is about worldwide health improvement, reduction of disparities, and protection against global threats that disregard national borders.

The global technology is a way of producing and diversifying analysis or experiments around the world. Technology has changed the global economic structure and technology has played a huge part in that.
Information technology (IT) is the application of computers and internet to store, retrieve, transmit, and manipulate data, or information, often in the context of a business or other enterprise. The term is commonly used as a synonym for computers and computer networks, but it also encompasses other information distribution technologies such as television and telephones.

Management (or managing) is the administration of an organization, whether it be a business, a not-for-profit organization, or government body. Management includes the activities of setting the strategy of an organization and coordinating the efforts of its employees or volunteers to accomplish its objectives through the application of available resources, such as financial, natural, technological, and human resources. The term "management" may also refer to the people who manage an organization.
Management science (MS), is the broad interdisciplinary study of problem solving and decision making in human organizations, with strong links to economics, business, engineering, and other sciences.

Computational mathematics involves mathematical research in areas of science where computing plays a central and essential role, emphasizing algorithms, numerical methods, and symbolic computations. Computation in research is prominent.
Statistics is the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation, and organization of data. In applying statistics to, e.g., a scientific, industrial, or social problem, it is conventional to begin with a statistical population or a statistical model process to be studied.

Geology is the study of the Earth, processes involved in them, materials from it is made, its history, structure and its effect on humans and life in general. Rocks, crystals, mountains, earthquakes, volcanoes, rivers, glaciers, landslides, floods, and many other subjects fall into this broad field of research.
Earth science or geosciences is an all-embracing term for the sciences related to the planet Earth. The discipline of Earth sciences may include the study of the atmosphere, hydrosphere, oceans, and biosphere, as well as the solid Earth. The journal provides an open access platform deals with the origin, structure, and physical phenomena of earth and its parts, effect of disasters.
Political science is a social science discipline that deals with systems of government, and the analysis of political activities, political thoughts and political behaviour. Political science comprises numerous subfields, including comparative politics, political economy, international relations, political theory, public administration, public policy and political methodology.
Engineering is the application of mathematics and scientific, economic, social, and practical knowledge in order to invent, innovate, design, build, maintain, research, and improve structures, machines, tools, systems, components, materials, processes and organizations.
The pharmaceutical sciences are a group of interdisciplinary areas of study concerned with the design, action, delivery, and disposition of drugs. They apply knowledge from chemistry (inorganic, physical, biochemical and analytical), biology (anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology), epidemiology, statistics, chemometrics, mathematics, physics, and chemical engineering.
Genetics encompasses study of structure and function of genes, causative factors and physiological consequences of genetic variations as well as the various other aspects of heredity. Genetic studies involve in depth analysis of diverse features of DNA and chromosomes, reproduction and heredity, recombination and genetic linkage, gene expression, the central dogma of life, genetic mutations, evolution, genomics and DNA sequencing. Genetics helps us to comprehend the molecular aspects of various diseases and helps us to formulate specific treatment and management strategies. Scientists are currently engaged in finding the cure for chronic diseases by modifying the associated genes. This is referred to as gene therapy and is speculated as the future of medical treatment practices.
Molecular biology is the branch of science that involves analysis of the structure, function and physiological role of various cellular biomolecules. Molecular biology basically involves molecular analysis of biological functions. Molecular biology follows a multidisciplinary approach of studying biomolecules by integrating the knowledge of biochemistry, genetics, cell biology and biophysics. Molecular biological studies provide insights into the various cellular and subcellular molecular mechanisms viz. DNA replication, transcription, translation, protein folding, DNA recombination etc. Contemporary molecular biology research incorporates the molecular analysis of the functioning of novel drugs and also the identification of specified molecular targets which can be exploited for pharmaceutical and medical applications.
Literature is writings in which expression and form, in connection with ideas of permanent and universal interest, are characteristic or essential features, as poetry, novels, history, biography, and essays. Everything that has been written down in some form or another, i.e., all the written manifestations of a culture (hence, there are terms such as 'research literature', 'the literature on civil rights', etc.).
Nutrition is the scientific study of the nutritional components of food and their physiological importance in the growth and maintenance of the body. Nutritional studies stress upon deciphering the various steps and intricacies of food intake, its digestion, absorption and assimilation. Based on the information gathered from nutritional studies the nutritionist recommends the intake or avoiding of food items as per the dietary and physiological demand of the body. The study of diverse aspects of food and nutrition also possess high socio-economic implications. In depth analysis of the nutritional value and dietary needs of people will help in the formulation of specified plans for global food security and prevention of diseases caused due to malnutrition.
*2016 Journal Impact Factor was established by dividing the number of articles published in 2014 and 2015 with the number of times they are cited in 2016 based on Google search and the Scholar Citation Index database. If 'X' is the total number of articles published in 2014 and 2015, and 'Y' is the number of times these articles were cited in indexed journals during 2016 then, impact factor = Y/X
