Brownish-red in color, the thyroid is made with blood vessels. Nerves necessary for voice quality conjointly tolerate the thyroid. The thyroid secretes many hormones, together referred to as thyroid hormones. the most secretion is thyroxin, conjointly referred to as T4. Thyroid hormones act throughout the body, influencing metabolism, growth and development, and vital sign. throughout infancy and childhood, adequate internal secretion is crucial for brain development.
