Reproductive System Open Access Articles

The reproductive system in an organism is for the purpose of sexual reproduction. The production of gametes for the purpose of fertilization takes place within the gonads through the process known as gametogenesis. Specifically, it is termed as spermatogenesis in males while oogenesis in females. Open access to the scientific literature means the removal of barriers (including price barriers) from accessing scholarly work. The major function of the reproductive system is to ensure the survival of the species. Other systems in the body, such as the endocrine and urinary systems, work continuously to maintain homeostasis for the survival of the individual. It is important to take steps to protect it from infections and injury and prevent problems—including some long-term health problems. ... Protecting your reproductive system also means having control of your health, if and when, you become pregnant. Open Access is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal with an aim to provide a rapid and reliable source of information in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc.
