Marine-mycology Scholarly Journal

Mycology deals with the study of fungi as an entire, their genetic and biochemical properties, taxonomy and use to humans as a source of food, medicine and diseases caused by them to humans also as plants. Marine mycology is that the sub classification of mycology that deals with the study of fungi occurring in oceans and seas. Most fungi are extensive producers of poisons, antibiotics and secondary metabolites. One among the main roles played by fungi is symbionts as lichens (association with algae), mycorrhizae (association with plants) and bug symbionts. a huge range of fungi are capable of simplifying complex organic biomolecules like lignin, xenobiotics, petroleum, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons which makes the fungi an indispensible unit in facilitating the worldwide carbon cycle. Scholarly journal may be a peer-reviewed journal during which scholarship concerning a specific academic discipline is published. Scholarly journals function forums for the introduction and presentation for scrutiny of latest research, and therefore the critique of existing research.
