Intellectual Property Rights-peer-review-journals

Property rights are rights given to people in addition to being created in their minds. Usually they give the manufacturer a special right over the use of their creations over a period of time. Writers' rights to literary and artistic works (such as books and other texts, songbooks, paintings, sculpture, computer programs and films) are protected by copyright, for a limited period of 50 years after the death of the author. Peer review refers to the work done during the examination of manuscripts and funding requests. This process encourages authors to meet acceptable standards for their behavior and reduces the distribution of inappropriate findings, unwanted requests, unacceptable interpretations, and personal opinions. Publications that have not been made for peer review may be considered suspicious by academics or professionals.
