Homicidal Death

Homicide is one among the foremost causes of death worldwide and head is that the common target in majority of cases. The presence of defensive or violence associated traumatic wounds may be a indicative of a homicide. These wounds are mainly seen on the upper limbs because these are the body parts with which a defendant raises to save lots of himself from the attacker. The left side of the victim is usually involved as this is often nearest to the accused person with the preponderance of right handed individuals within the society. Presence of a defensive wounds implies that the victim was ready to put up some resistance to an assault, at some stage during that assault. Presence of defense wound if any also proves that the given case is of homicide; because it may be a natural reaction of a private to defend oneself at the time of assault. this study was aimed to guage defense wound present in Homicidal deaths caused by the utilization of varied sorts of weapon like Sharp cutting or Hard and Blunt objects or by both sort of objects.
