Geography Articles

Geology (from Greek: γεωγραφία, geographia, truly "earth depiction") is a field of science dedicated to the investigation of the terrains, highlights, occupants, and marvels of the Earth and planets. The main individual to utilize the word γεωγραφία was Eratosthenes (276–194 BCE). Topography is a sweeping control that looks for a comprehension of Earth and its human and normal complexities—not simply where items are, yet in addition how they have changed and become.

 

Geology is regularly characterized regarding two branches: human topography and physical topography. Human topography is worried about the investigation of individuals and their networks, societies, economies, and associations with the earth by considering their relations with and across space and spot. Physical topography is worried about the investigation of procedures and examples in the common habitat like the environment, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere.
