Gastric Cancer Journals

Gastric cancer is the third most common cause of cancer-related deaths in the world, and it is always difficult to treat in Western countries, especially because of the many patients with high morbidity. Within the USA abdominal malignancy is the 15th most common cancer. The stomach begins in the innermost part of the limb and ends in the small intestine. Almost all of the viscus cancers are adenocarcinomas (cells that originate in adult cells and do not contain mucous secretion and other factors). Other types of cancer are viscus or duct neoplasm tumors, duct stromal tumors, and lymphomas. Infection with a microorganism known as H. pylori can be a common cause of viscus cancer. Gastric cancer has no associated symptoms; however, some patients with accidental complaints have been diagnosed with gastric cancer. Many symptoms of gastric cancer show advanced disease. All the symptoms of cancer of the stomach are very late events. When the second most common cancer worldwide, gastric cancer dropped to fourth place, after cancer of the lungs, breast, and colon and rectum. However, gastric cancer remains the third most common cause of cancer death. The World Health Organization estimates that in 2012, gastric cancer killed 723,000 people worldwide.
