According to research annually, the USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where high quality protein-related studies are being performed. As reported in the article- Raju KD ”The link between competition law and local intellectual property rights: a comparative study of the US, the EU and India” - Property and intelligence law creates and protects sovereign power and one seeks to circumvent it. Provisions for the issue of IP are included in the Indian Competition Act, 2002 in Section 3 (5). This is to provide for the enforcement of intellectual property rights. But protecting property rights does not violate any competition offer. The purpose of competition law is to prohibit anti-competitive practices and the purpose of both the river is the distribution of wealth to any economy. Intellectual property protection is needed to promote innovation and product selection in the market. It contributes to market efficiency and enhances consumer well-being. India is still at the end of its competition rules regime.
