Cells are the essential unit of an organism, a bit like the molecules during a bulk phase of a substance. As a chemist, I even have been curious about the assembly and interaction of molecules to spontaneously form certain structures, for instance, unit cells in crystals, and that i worked hard to offer a new theory to explain the phenomena that “birds of the same feathers flock together. Just yesterday evening, i used to be watching a television program with my son about sponges, where the interesting aggregation of dissociated sponge cells was shown. According to standard thermodynamic textbooks, different cells or different molecules aggregate to make a mix thanks to the entropy of mixing; this unfortunately doesn't explain why an outsized number of an equivalent cells, and an outsized number of an equivalent molecules, would really like to aggregate. The interaction of cells or the collective behavior of aggregated cells to make tissues, organs and organisms are going to be one among the foremost important topics to be covered by this journal.
Topics of interest include but aren't limited to: -Transcriptomics; Proteomics; Metabolomics; Glycomics; Lipidomics; Interactomics; Fluxomics; Biomics -Cell Anatomy -Cell Structure: organelles; cytoskeleton; cell membrane; genetic material; capsule; flagella etc. -Cell Functions/Processes: cell growth, metabolism; protein synthesis; division; movement of proteins; active/passive transport; cell signaling; adhesion; DNA repair etc. -Cell Movement & Motility -Apoptosis -Cell & Biological Aging -Cell & Tissue Culture -Cell Adhesion -Cell Growth & Differentation -Hematopoiesis/Stem Cells -Cell-mediated Immunology -Sickle Cell Anemia & Thalassemia -T-Cell Research -Research Techniques: observation; purification; cell culture; transfection etc.
