Pyrosequencing

Pyrosequencing is a DNA sequencing method that is based on the detection of released pyrophosphate (PPi) during DNA synthesis. It is based on the sequencing-by-synthesis principle. Pyrosequencing has the potential advantages of accuracy, flexibility, parallel processing, and can be easily automated.
