Biography
Hanselaar has many years of experience as a CEO and board member in healthcare organizations. To the end of 2014, he was, for 4 years, the CEO of Pantein. Pantein delivers a broad spectrum of HealthCare in South-East Netherlands, including hos-pital-care, nursing homes, a care-hotel, maternity care, and various services in home care. At that time he was also chairman of the board of Syntein (a co-operation with regional primary care physicians). Before that, Hanselaar was, for eight years, the CEO of the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding), the largest healthcare Charity in the Netherlands, and one of the largest in Europe). Before that he was secretary of the Netherlands Pathology Society, vice-chairman of the board of Pathology at the Nijmegen University, and committee chairman of several Dutch and international scientific societies.
Presently he is also member of the Supervisory Council of the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, Netherlands, and vice-chairman of the Supervisory Council of PALGA (national database and registry of Pathology in the Netherlands.
