D-r Hristo Vasilev Kozhuharov was born in Varna, Bulgaria on 20th October 1966. He graduated from the Medical University at Varna in 1993, and subsequently obtained his specialty in Psychiatry in 1997. From 1997 to 1998 d-r Kozhuharov has specialized psychotherapy in Liestal, Switzerland. He has worked over 15 years in Addictions Department. He is also an experienced investigator in clinical research. D-r Kozhuharov earned his PhD in 2009. He is the head of Second Psychiatric Clinic at MHAT ?St. Marina? ? Varna, Bulgaria and Assoc. Professor at Medical University ? Varna since 2012. D-r Kozhuharov has also been the head of the Bulgarian Psychiatric Association from 2013 to 2016. Since 2016 Assoc. Professor d-r Hristo Vasilev Kozhuharov is Head of Department of Psychiatry and Medical Psychology,Medical University Varna. He has over 50 publications with main areas concerned: Addictions, Affective Disorders, Mental Health and Schizophrenia.
