Biography
Dr. Victoria Mandova,DMD actively participates in clinical and translational research related to health promotion and prevention of dental diseases. She is improving her passion for social sciences in the position of an Assistant professor in the Department of Social medicine and Public health in the Medical University of Plovdiv. She is continuing her education with a specialization in Social Medicine and Dental Public Health as well as ameliorating her scientific degree with a PhD degree. Her fields of interest include the ethical standards in healthcare and dental practice, oral health improvement through prevention and policy. She collaborates with epidemiologists and statisticians from the Faculty of Public Health on a variety of risk factor studies based on trial cohorts. She has a particular interest in treatment of patients with malocclusion. Her main research involves the use of surveillance systems developed for evaluating quality of life of patients with cranio-facial anomalies.
