Biography

Dr Kostadinov is Associate Professor on Disaster Medicine in Medical University Plovdiv and part time lecturer on Medical Planning in University of World and National Economy, Sofia. He is Secretary General of International Disaster Medicine Association, Naples, Italy and civil expert Medical Intelligence (Health Threats) for NATO Joint Health Food and Agriculture Working Group (JHFAG), NATO HQ, Brussels, Belgium. Three years 2015, 2016 and 2017 he has been invited as Visiting Professor on Disaster Medicine in Second University, Naples, Italy. Physician with three medical specialties - Internal Diseases, Orthopedic Surgery and Disaster Medicine and PhD degree in Disaster Medicine, who served as military medical doctor for 24 years and retired with rank of Colonel. Author and co-author in 18 books (25 chapters) and 90 studies published as articles in journals or proceedings of international or national scientific events. Invited, key and guest speaker on many international scientific events on planning, organization and execution of medical support to military or disaster relief operations, guest lecturer and mentor for Joint Medical Planner Course in NATO School, Oberammergau, Germany and supporting speaker for George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies and College of International and Security, Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany).
