Psychiatric Epidemiology

Psychiatric epidemiology is a field which deals with the study of conceptualization, etiology, and prevalence of mental illness in society. Psychiatric epidemiologists focuses on broad nonspecific risk markers, such as gender and social class, rather than on modifiable risk factors.
