Medicinal natural products
The valuable medicinal properties of various plants are due to presence of many constituents i.e. saponines, tannins, alkaloids, alkenyl phenols, glycoalkaloids, flavonoids, sesquiterpenes lactones, terpenoids and phorbol esters. Among them some act assynergistic and enhance the bioactivity of different compounds. These products supply nice anticipation within the identification of bioactive compounds and their development into medicine for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
