Joint replacement

Joint replacement surgery is performed in order to replace a damaged joint and putting a new one. A joint is where two or more bones come together, like the knee, hip and shoulder. Procedure of orthopedic surgery in which an arthritic or dysfunctional joint surface is replaced with an orthopedic prosthesis.
