Carrier screening

Carrier screening is the test done to check genetic mutation carrier gene in partner which causes serious inherited disorders like cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease etc., in offspring. Specific autosomal recessive gene is responsible  as a carrier. The information provider about reproductive risk during pregnancy, as well as cystic fibrosis, sickle cell anemia.
